How the programme will be delivered
MAHP opportunities will be brought to market through a series of coordinated procurement rounds, providing a clear and diverse pipeline for contractors, developers, development partners and SMEs.
The first opportunity will comprise nine Batch 1 schemes delivering approximately 340 homes, with formal procurement expected to begin in August 2026.
The smaller sites are intended to be accessible to suitably qualified contractors, developers and SMEs, with opportunities to deliver alongside an established professional team. A combination of single-stage and two-stage design and build tenders is anticipated, together with development agreement structures for market-facing elements.
Further opportunities are expected to follow through two or three procurement rounds over the subsequent six to nine months, including Batch 2 and Batch 3 sites.
Nine larger strategic sites are expected to be procured separately for organisations with the proven experience, capability and resources to lead their progression independently through design, planning and delivery.
Clear information will be provided for each opportunity, including how to participate, the procurement route and process, indicative timescales, delivery arrangements, proposed forms of contract and evaluation requirements.
All opportunities will be subject to open and competitive procurement, with updates and links to supporting documentation published on this website.
