Tent Street

Tent Street is an approximately 0.4-hectare site located close to Bethnal Green station, with excellent public transport accessibility and Weavers Fields nearby. The site is currently occupied by a vehicle recovery and repair business, storage containers, earth mounds and a play area and basketball court serving the neighbouring estate. A large redundant railway viaduct curves through the western part of the site and will be retained and integrated into the proposed scheme. The surrounding area combines railway arches and light-industrial uses with established homes and recent residential development. The site is located within Flood Zone 1, indicating a low probability of flooding.
